Our 1 Day Machu Picchu train tour all inclusive allows you to enjoy a relaxing train ride to Machu Picchu, as you pass through the ancient towns of the Incas. A journey through the alpine meadows nestled amongst the green andes, brown and white mountains, the intricately formed valleys, layers of handmade Inca agriculture terraces, ridged snowcapped peaks and sub-tropical jungle near the Amazon up to Aguas Calientes town and visit one of the new 7 wonders of the world, all in one day.

You will be picked up from your hotel at 4 a.m. Following, we will drive in our private transport to the train station and leave on the 6:10 am. train, from Ollantaytambo. The train follows the Urubamba sacred valley River, until we reach Aguas Calientes town. Along the way, you will see spectacular views of the farmlands, snow-capped mountains and the mighty Urubamba River, one of the sources of the Amazon River.

Our guide will meet you at the train station in Aguas Calientes at around 7:30 am for your Machu Picchu Treks and transfer you to Machu Picchu on the shuttle bus. Following your arrival, you will be visiting the famous Sacred City of the Incas on your Machu Picchu Treks. Your tour guide will take you to the best views before the guiding tour, providing you with an unforgettable experience of Machu Picchu Treks.

After the 3-hour guided walking tour, hike Machu Picchu, we’ll have the opportunity to explore all of the famous Inka places of this beautiful citadel: The Temple of the Sun, Royal Tomb, The Intihuatana (sun dial rock), Main Plaza, Temple of the 3 Windows, The Artisan area, the Condor sacred rock, and many others. Once the tour concludes, you will still have time to continue hiking and exploring Machu Picchu at your own pace.

At around 1:20p.m., you will need to take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants there in Aguas Calientes. Make sure to arrive at the train station 30 minutes before your departure. The train schedule is usually at 2:55 p.m. to Ollantaytambo village, where you will catch our private transport for another an hour half drive back to Cusco city. If you care to upgrade the train to the Vistadome-class service, then you’ll have the choice to leave at either 3:20 p.m. or 5:20 p.m. Both Vistadome train take you to Poroy station, where our transfer will collect you and take you back to Cusco .
