You will be picked up from your hotel at 4 a.m. Following, we will drive in our private transport to the train station and leave on the 6:10 am. train, from Ollantaytambo. The train follows the Urubamba sacred valley River, until we reach Aguas Calientes town. Along the way, you will see spectacular views of the farmlands, snow-capped mountains and the mighty Urubamba River, one of the sources of the Amazon River.
Our guide will meet you at the train station in Aguas Calientes for your Machu Picchu Guided Tour and transfer you to Machu Picchu site on the shuttle bus. Following your arrival, you will be visiting the famous Sacred City of the Incas on your Machu Picchu Inca citadel. Your tour guide will take you to the best views before the guiding tour, providing you with an unforgettable experience of Machu Picchu Tour.
The 3-hour guided walking tour of Machu Picchu, we’ll have the opportunity to explore all of the famous Inka places of this beautiful citadel: The Temple of the Sun, Royal Tomb, The Intihuatana (sun dial rock), Main Plaza, Temple of the 3 Windows, The Artisan area, the Condor sacred rock, and many others. Once the tour concludes, you will still have time to continue hiking and exploring Machu Picchu at your own pace.
At around 1:20p.m., you will need to take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants there in Aguas Calientes. Make sure to arrive at the train station 30 minutes before your departure. The train schedule is usually at 2:55 p.m. to Ollantaytambo village, where you will catch our private transport for another an hour half drive back to Cusco city. If you care to upgrade the train to the Vistadome-class service, then you’ll have the choice to leave at either 3:20 p.m. or 5:20 p.m. Both Vistadome train take you to Poroy station, where our transfer will collect you and take you back to Cusco.

Transportation: All the transportation are included in this tour. You will be picked up directly from your hotel in Cusco around 4 a.m. to begin this tour. Following, we will go to the train station and depart on the 6:10 a.m. expedition train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. The train returning to Ollantaytambo is again, expedition class. Upgrades to the Vistadome are available for $65 per person, one way per folk. Once you arrive at the train station, you will be brought back to your hotel in Cusco city. Your bus ticket from Machu Picchu To Aguas Calientes round trip is also included.

What is not included?
Huayna Picchu: Huayna Picchu is the mountain that stands next to Machu Picchu. It’s a 45 minute hiking to the top. Going back down is quite steep, if you are afraid of heights. This is done without your tour guide, after your tour of Machu Picchu. The cost is $75 per person. Arrangements need to be made at least 1 month in advance, due to popularity. Please understand that weather is out of our control
Day packs: It is suggested to carry snacks, water, a hat, clothing layers, bug spray, others. at all times, so you will likely have a small bag. We don’t provide this and it should not exceed 25L.
