Located in the province of Lares, Choquecancha is a small village filled with people proud of their Incan heritage. With a population of approximately 200 people, this community is hardworking and friendly, valuing family above all.
A source of both community identity and financial sustainability lies within Choquecancha’s superior production of textile fabrics. Choquecancha is also a town rich with history, with remnants of Incan structures that the local people still dwell in.
